Challenge & Context
The Marella Discovery underwent a refit in which existing deck surfaces needed to be renewed without compromising functionality or appearance. On a cruise vessel, decks are exposed to intensive daily use by passengers and crew, combined with changing weather conditions.
The challenge was to deliver a consistent and durable solution across a large surface area of 2,840 m² within the constraints of a drydock schedule. The solution had to restore technical performance while also contributing to a refreshed and high-quality appearance.
